Currently, I’m working on understanding of the hydrophobic effect based on the structural and the dynamic properties of water around hydrophobic solutes or inside the hydrophobic pores of nanoporous materials. The structural and dynamic properties of water can be quantified from the Molecular Dynamics Simulations and the Network Analysis. I use the dynamics-based correction scheme to correct the transient artifacts that induced from the hydrogen bond definitions so as to provide more accurate results.
